About Mahabharat :
The Mahabharata is an ancient Indian epic.
The Mahabharata revolves around two royal families, the Pandavas and Kauravas, vying for the throne of Hastinapura. The blind king Dhritarashtra's sons, the hundred Kauravas led by Duryodhana, envy the Pandavas—Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, and Sahadeva—sons of Pandu. The Pandavas, exiled due to Duryodhana's treachery, endure hardships but win the hand of Draupadi, who becomes their shared wife. As tensions escalate, a rigged dice game leads to the Pandavas' exile for 13 years.
Upon their return, peace talks fail, leading to the great Kurukshetra War. Allies align, including Krishna supporting Arjuna. The war sees massive destruction, and amidst it, the Bhagavad Gita's teachings on duty and righteousness are shared. Ultimately, the Pandavas triumph but are burdened by the cost—loss of family and friends.
The Mahabharata's enduring lessons echo through time, emphasizing ethics, duty, and the consequences of choices, immortalized in its complex characters and timeless teachings.
This Art Collectible: These terracotta tiles are primitive terracotta handicrafts from India. For longevity those craft items are burnt in a specific temperature and the selection of clay mud is also important, mostly collected from river beds. Each river has its unique soil and requires special care and processing, then only the final product becomes a signature and of course the cultural uniqueness is also prominent in each Indian folk art piece. This idol is made from Holy Ganges Clay, handcrafted and hand-painted.
